Artwork

Proofing/editing

With the exception of work originating from our own designers or those working on our behalf, Paperclone does not proof read your artwork and or text for accuracy.  It is assumed that all text and graphics are delivered to Paperclone Limited  in their final approved state.

Likewise with all client files, unless specifically instructed to do so, Paperclone Limited will not edit text nor will we touch up artwork to change its presentation or layout. If specifically requested, any proof reading, editing or other alteration that is carried out will carry a minimum time charge of 20 minutes in accordance with hourly rates applicable at the time. All of  our charges are available on request.

All data, artwork and text  is deemed to be the intellectual property of the client presenting it and it will be used only in accordance with the clients wishes and directions.

Copyright

Ownership

All material (printed or otherwise) presented for copying, printing, archiving or otherwise reproduction is assumed to be the intellectual property of the client presenting it.

In the event that the material is clearly not the intellectual property of the client presenting for reproduction and/or storage, then it is assumed by our operators that the client presenting the material has gained the consent of the copyright owner to copy or reproduce the material in question.

Paperclone Limited does not accept responsibility for breach of copyright in handling or reproducing such material for any client or their agent.

In certain cases, clients may be asked to sign a declaration stating that they have the right to use certain materials in their work.

Accounts

Our standard terms for payment of accounts is 14 days from collection or delivery of goods (not from invoicing date).

When applicable discounted pricing is reliant on our standard terms being adhered to. Paperclone Limited reserves the right to readjust discounted pricing to reflect the non-adherence to these terms.

Persistent late payment of accounts may result in a booking fee being added to each invoice/worksheet, to reflect the additional administration required.

Service Commitment

In order to maintain a reasonably efficient level of service for our valued clients, we commit to a 48hr turnaround* for most standard print work. Normally we are able to deliver well within this timescale and often we can deliver within only a few hours of artwork being delivered to us. However, our pricing is based on a 48 hour turnaround and constant requests for quicker turnaround times may result in handling charges being applied or discounts being removed in order to maintain a level playing field for all of our customers.

*Fixed price contracts and large projects will continue to meet their specific pricing and delivery commitments.

Deliveries

Paperclone expects to be able to offer a delivery service within the St Helier ring road for all clients in the first half of 2009.

It is expected that deliveries of finished print will be free of charge (subject to order size) with additional services being added to complement this service.
